Where to Find The Carpenters Arms, Dale Abbey

The Carpenters Arms is situated in the beautiful Derbyshire village of Dale Abbey, just off the A6096 running between Ilkeston and Derby. Surrounded by open fields and woodland, and well trodden footpaths and trails, Dale Abbey has a relaxing country atmosphere at the centre of which is the Carpenters Arms Public House.

The pub is easy to find by car or bike and there are walking and cycling routes from nearby Spondon, Ockbrook and Kirk Hallam, or from Oakwood through the beautiful Loco Park estate. There is ample car parking to the rear of the pub. Visitors to the pub and area, including the nearby abbey ruins, are welcome to use the car park free of charge if they enjoy one of our excellent cask ales, pub food or other refreshments during their visit.

The Carpenters Arms is situated in beautiful rural surroundings, just over 1 mile from the Crown Carvery Bartlewood Lodge. The Carpenters Arms is much more welcoming and personal than the larger food pubs and is the perfect backdrop for enjoying freshly cooked food and well kept quality cask ales
