The Carpenters Arms is a country village pub with history and charm situated in the beautiful Derbyshire village of Dale Abbey close to Derby and Ilkeston. The pub has been run by the same family for over 80 years.

Home Cooked Sunday Roast

For £5.99 on Sundays, we serve a home cooked Sunday roast with all the trimmings. A choice of topside of beef, pork or turkey depending on availability.

Monday Night is Curry Night

Two meals for only: £9.00 with your choice of the following curries:A freshly cooked steak at the Carpenters Arms, Dale Abbey.

  • Chicken Curry
  • Chicken Tikka Masala
  • Chicken Jalfrezi
  • Kashmiri Lamb
  • Sweet Potato, Chick Pea & Spinach

All served with Basmati rice, poppadom, mango chutney and Naan Bread.

Wednesday Night is Steak Night

Sirloin, Rump or Ribeye steak is served to order.
