How to find us The Carpenters Arms is situated in the quiet village of Dale Abbey off the main A6096 road which runs between Ilkeston and Derby. The village is surrounded by open fields and woodland which makes for a relaxing country village atmosphere within easy reach of junction 25 of the M1 and the cities of Derby and Nottingham.
If you use a GPS or other mapping system we can be found at Lon - 001 21'06" Lat - W 052 56'44" N From Derby Travel along the A6096 from Spondon and turn 1st right about 1 mile after passing the entrance to Bartlewood Lodge which is on the right. Dale Abbey is sign posted and you will find us about 1/4 mile from the junction, on the left just after you enter the village. From Ilkeston Travel along the A6096 from Ilkeston and through Kirk Hallam. Turn left about 1/4 mile after passing Cat and Fiddle Lane which is on the right next to the old windmill. Dale Abbey is sign posted and you will find us about 1/4 mile from the junction, on the left just after you enter the village. From junction M1/Junction 25 Take the exit from the roundabout over the M1 signposted to Sandiacre. At the crossroads with the B5010 go straight over onto Rushy Lane which is signposted to Stanton-by-Dale. Continue on for about 1 mile until you reach another crossroads where you should turn left. Continue along this road for about 2 miles and you will enter the village of Dale Abbey which is sign posted. You will find us on the right .
